Ken Goodnight makes sure of it.
Before Ken Goodnight was inspecting homes, he spent 11 years engineering and managing wireless networks for Verizon Wireless. He led a team of 19 technicians, oversaw more than 300 cell sites across the Atlanta metro area, and was named Georgia Network Operations Employee of the Year in 2014.
He had a career most people would stay in. He left anyway.
In 2016, Ken launched a Spaulding Decon franchise in Marietta and spent four years doing the work most companies won't touch: mold remediation, water restoration, hazmat cleanup, hoarding situations, and more. That's where the real education happened. That's where 9 years of remediation experience was built, not borrowed.
In 2020, he founded DIR Home Services, bringing everything he'd learned into one company built around a promise he takes personally.
